before i learnt how to video edit which i consider to be both my job and primary artform, writing was sort of my ~thing~
it felt like it was the only thing i was good at, and it also felt like the only way i knew how to process who i was, what was happening, am i ok? (the answer was nearly always no)
nowadays, writing is a hobby that kind of comes to me in the middle of the night, violently shakes me awake for half an hour and then leaves again, which i don't mind
if i'm not writing, it means i'm probably actually doing ok, which is good :]
